So--I have been wracking my brain as to what Doris could possibly have left for Steve. Money? Some family heirloom that she took with her when she died the first time? Hmmmmm.

So--I have been wracking my brain as to what Doris could possibly have left for Steve. Money? Some family heirloom that she took with her when she died the first time? Hmmmmm. Or what if, in her sick mind, she thought entrusting her microfilm to him (they did retrieve that, right ... and was it ever destroyed) would keep him safe? It's not going to be money because we already know she was setting up accounts for them and the only one she put any money into was the one for Joanie. I hope it's not something like her wedding ring with instructions to give it to Catherine. For me (although I know there are those who disagree), marrying Catherine would just give Steve a wife exactly like his mother. Maybe it's something that will totally make sense of everything in the Champ box. |
