Loved the episode a great final
So we found out the mystery of the Champ Box. John McGarrett had been investigating the possibility that his wife Doris had faked her death and was hoping Steve would one day solve and find the truth,
Seeing flashbacks of Wo Fat, John McGarrett and Hesse
Catching Wo Fat's wife
It was really sad when Steve said good by to Eddie and Junior
The best bit of the final was Catherine
When Steve had that conversation with Lincoln about Catherine in the car I was thinking Lincoln give Catherine a call now and get them together,
Catherine was the one who cracked the cipher
The best scene was the end when Steve was on the plan and Catherine was there and going off together to find PEACE, HAPPINESS, and Love and have a family together and holding hands.
So now I can go back and watch all my favourite episodes over the 10 seasons knowing Steve will be happy in the end with Catherine they were my two favourite characters plus Eddie.
Now waiting to see what Alex next project will be. I think we wont know until next year as Alex will have a long rest now.

Loved the episode-it had everything-lots of bromance, lots of action, and lots of Ohana moments.
Everything with McGarret came full circle. I liked how they tied the first episode to the last Of course my only wish, and I guess they found out too late to do this, was to have Grace and Charlie, as well as other family members in the finale. No Kamekona either.... I will miss this show....and hearing from all of you about this show. Thank you to all of you who made it happen. I appreciate your efforts to keep people like me up-to-date....
Aloha!!

I always found the story line with McGarrett's mom a little convoluted. I think I would have written it differently.
Glad to see some familiar faces from the first episode and an attempt to tie things together.
Wished other who have left like Kono, Max, Rachel, Danny's kids especially Grace etc could have been included some way.
So, so glad Steve ended up with Catherine!
I posted a lot when this show begin but stopped posting but still watching. Enjoyed the entertainment even though my enthusiasm waned.
Sad that this will be my last post.

It was awesome finale. I'm full of emotions. I cried like a child several times. I was just a wreck after the episode. In the last episode could feel the emotions that accompanied me for 10 years, when I watched the show which I became a fan, and which was and always will be the most important and favorite series for me. I have not felt anything like it on any show and there is no chance that any series will fill this void. It's hard to believe it's over.
It was a really great episode for McDanno fans. Just beautiful were the moments. I cried when Steve saved Danny and how he said goodbye. They are brothers, best friends, and as Mei said Danny was the most important person in his life. Their relationship had better and worse moments, but I think their season 10 relationship was the best for years. And this episode confirmed it. And they said at end of episode: "I love you", it was not the first time, but I think it was the most honest. Steve leaves Danny, but as he said not forever, I believe that at the end Steve and Danny will be like old men in episode 9.10, even Lenkov himself said it on Twitter today.
As for the last scene, I have mixed feelings because I don't like Catherine since episode 6.03, when she broke Steve heart again. Then when I saw her face on the screen in the following seasons I had more and more mixed feelings. And the fandom wars only pushed me away from this character. So it's hard for me to judge this last scene a bit, I would prefer if she didn't appear and Steve was alone on the plane, but on the other hand, when I saw a smile on Steve's face, maybe disliking Catherine is losing to the fact that Steve may be finally happy after these events in life. Another thing is that if this episode were to be written as the series finale, I doubt Steve would leave the island and Five-0. But as it was to be Steve's last episode, and the series would be continued, the fact that Steve leaves and accompanies him Catherine makes some sense.
It was great to see W Fat, Hesse, and John McGarrett again. And these references to the pilot. And song "All For One" (new version of song) from 100th episode. Finally, all storylines with John, Doris, and Wo fatem were ended. Unfortunately, it cost Steve a lot, because it eventually caused Steve to leave the island, but he had at least some type of closure. Steve's farewell scenes with everyone is another scene where I cried. Steve has changed the lives of all Five-0 members, It wasn't enough for him to stay, and I think he would stay if CBS announced the end of the series earlier.
I just .. I'll always be angry at CBS what they did. I always thought that the series would end as the producers want. CBS will let know a few months before this, or give it another season. Like many other veterans shows on CBS. We do not know when Alex announced the decision, but there were certainly a few episodes before the finale, because in the 10.19 episode we had the first mention that something was happening with Steve. And CBS announced the end of the series as they shot the finale, PL, actors, and crew previously thought it would be another season but without Alex/Steve. And that's why I think Steve leaves the island. But if immediately after Alex's decision they wanted to end the series, I think that it would look completely different, Steve probably would have stayed on the island, he was still leading Five-0. Perhaps Catherine would come back and stay with Steve permanently, because PL says in interviews that for him she was always an endgame, but they would end up on their own terms. That is why I will never forgive CBS, unless they do revival someday, which does not exclude PL, and in the era of series return after years it is possible. The CSI that ended in 2015 is expected to return. So maybe someday it will happen. And if it ever happens, then only with Alex and Scott, it would not make sense without any of them. I liked Lance, he looks like a character with great potential, but honestly as one of the Five-0 members, but not as a replacement for Steve and Danny's new partner, it just wouldn't be the same, and it could destroy the series. Therefore, it's good that we have not seen it, despite my love to the show without Steve there was no point in continuing it.
Hawaii Five-0 has been more than a show for 10 years. I watched from the pilot. Over the years, the series has changed, the actors came and went, but my adoration of the series remained. Suffice it to say that the only foreign forums in which I speak are about Hawaii Five-0, because I wanted to talk about my favorite series with other fans. I created a Polish fan page. I bought all DVDs each season (I don't have pther show on DVD ). When I was still studying, I could watch the episode at 6 am before going to class, because I couldn't stand it. The same later when I started working. Now I feel like I lost my best friend. But I have 240 episodes, I will definitely rewatch the series, and more than once. And in a few years, let's hope that Hawaii Five-0 will return, of course with Alex and Scott.

Given that the series was wrapped up quickly, the finale we well-done. Sad that we didn't get a goodbye with Kamekona or Duke, and would have been nice to have Grace included as well - even a verbal reference (i.e. they send there well-wishes via someone else, phone call), given that they were there from the beginning. Loved how things wrapped back to the Pilot and what drove so much of the show.
Now, don't shoot down the idea, just think about it, something that a friend and I talked much about last night:
With the rest of the team still intact and apparently going on as before, could the show have continued without Steve? Definitely possible. Lincoln's character was likable and well-developed, and that happened in only two episodes. Over the years, the characters have remained strong (even the added new ones), the story lines remained fresh, and ratings were consistently good. I would have finished out a full Season 10 with Lincoln, and probably longer, as long as the quality was there. Yes, Steve (and the relationship with Danny) was the heart of the show, but all surrounding elements were also of quality and entertaining. Would have been nice if CBS would have given it a chance and let the fans decide if it could go on without Steve.
Thanks to all who maintained this board and those who posted, it has been an amazing 10 years - aloha!

The new interview with Peter shows something different with Alex. PL was hoping that Alex would return after several episodes in Season 11. And he hoped that CBS would convince him to return. So it looks a little different than yesterday. Alex decided that the season 10 would be his the last but PL hoped that CBS would convince him to return. In addition, not only PL does not exclude the return of Hawaii Five-0 in the future, as well as CBS. So who knows maybe in a few years the series will return? Of course, it is not known if in a few years Alex and Scott will want it, but at least there is a chance. tvline.com/2020/04/04/hawaii-five-0-ended-over-season-11-spoilers-tani-junior/

I thought it was a great end to the series. Nice connection to the beginning, and good to see Catherine and Steve looking ready to take their relationship seriously.
I too was hoping to see Duke and Kamekona, if nothing else during the goodbyes.
I have been very happy with Jr and Tani. I haven't missed Kono and Chin that much until the end of this episode, when I did feel a little empty. I couldn't help but think of that first episode when the "core 4" got together and formed 50.
Lincoln was an interesting character, but wasn't it a little odd that the new guy was Steve's right hand man during the final episode? Was Lincoln intended to be a new character for the S11 that didn't happen? His introduction at this time seemed out of place.
One question: Wo Fat was raised by Steve's mom, but is not really a half brother?

One question: Wo Fat was raised by Steve's mom, but is not really a half brother? Doris was supposed to kill Wo Fat's father but killed his mother instead (when he was a baby). Feeling guilty for taking away the baby's mother, she quit being a spy for a while and raised the little boy. That is, until the CIA found out and separated the two of them. Since Wo Fat is older than Steve, this would have been before she married John and had her own kids. But Wo Fat always considered her his mother because he was too young to have had memories of his own mother.
