Castle has been ahead since last night. Hence "Castle-slapped"

Crap. The only good news is DWTS is getting trounced. Surely a response to their horrid selection of "stars". Well, even though they don't say you can still vote all week, the poll still works, so I voted.

aaaaaaaaaa! I'm feeling sick! This is so not good, gals! Castle is beating Hawaii Five-0 big time. 60% to 23% In like 1 minute, it went from 60.9% to 60.12%. I voted twice and the percentage didn't budge for Five-0. Think about how many people are voting for Castle all the time. What are we going to do? I know I now have a part-time job. Okay, I just voted again, and Castle had dropped back down to 60.09% and Five-0 had inched up to 23.28%. So, I'm sorry I freaked out about a little margin. I just pictured it going up at the rate consistently. I do think we should keep voting, if we can. I so so so do not want to see Castle win again against our precious show. BTW, they don't count multiple votes. I do still go to the site and click on "view results" so I can see the percentages. Still not looking good.

You can't vote twice, I tried. I did get some friends to vote, though (even though they like Castle better, hahaha), but they're in Spain, so they don't care. Has this been posted on the useless board? Are there really more Castle fans than HF-0 fans???

Well, Castle has been around longer. Doesn't make it better, just has more fans because more people know about it.

And there are more Nathan Fillion fans than either H50 or Alex/Scott fans. He's been "around" longer, in that he's been visible on TV longer, and a lot of his devotees are sci/fi-fantasy geeks who mourn the loss of Firefly. They're dead loyal. Unfortunately I might be one of those if I hadn't seen Moonlight.

Once he starts working I think you'll like TQ, blondie. There's something about him... very quiet but menacing. He's got this smile that is anything but a smile and just makes you shiver, wondering what the hell he's planning. But he can also be very warm and nice. He's a hell of an interesting character (at least as a composite of the stuff I've seen him in). He's a really good actor, so he'll definitely be better than some other additions to the show.

I voted for H50 of course. I voted straight CBS other than Two and a Half Men. I just saw a couple of promos tonight...still showing the Terry Quinn one. I know you all are TQ fans...I don't know anything about him, but the promo is boring. Where is the fun, sun, surf, shirtless, action, H50 theme song, like last year? BlondieChic - I started a Terry O'Quinn Video thread in the Actor's Lounge and posted some of TOQ work there so you could see him in action in a role similar to what he will play on H50. I didn't watch LOST or Alias, so I wouldn't know which clips to post from those show, so I am hoping someone more familiar with his work on those show will post some videos from there for you to check out.

Hey, I was going to suggest that. His role in Lost was very different, yet... the leadership was there. And he was a Black Ops leader in Alias.

The whole concept of bringing him on, is to drag the 'Lost'ies" on over, not necessarily promoting those who don't know him. Seemingly, according to the masses in the know, that there are so many spoilers that if they go too deep into the episodes to produce the excitement, that they will give too much away. During its run, Lost was still in the top ten rated shows and had a cult following that was Star Trekkie in nature. So they are hoping for the Lost worshippers to flock on over at the mere mention of Terry O'Quinn. It will probably work. Until they scare them away.

My cousin is a HUGE Lost fan. And the other day on Facebook she wrote "Okay, who else just saw the commercial for the episode of Hawaii5-0 with Terry O'Quinn in it!?!? Are they planning on using the entire cast of LOST in this show?" So although I did comment and tell her to "not hate on my show" and about how awesome he's going to be, and she did say that she wasn't hating, I think that like anything else it will be a mixed review. And they're using the same tactic with Lauren and her scream fans.
