I'm in college and back at work which is at a school.
I am working on the next phase of my Environmental Sciences degree in college, and I am already well underway with Science Fair development for 300 kids at school.

I'm probably a bit older than a few of you here on the board, but just went back to school today too. I'm a full-time aide in Kindergarten.

well those interviews were as pointless as telling steve leave danny's dress sense alone.
had both feet the door before they even started, they just wanted to tell us in person we were in. i got feckin worked up to fight tooth and nail for my place.
i've got a friend who had to fight for hers and she still doesn't know whether she's in or not.

My daughter went to school for the first time Aug. 22. She's been in school for 3 weeks. I home-schooled her from pre-school to 3rd grade. We put her in a private school, and she's loving it. I'm loving it, too. Now, I will start my son in kindergarten on Monday. Oh, boy! I think teaching my son will be easier than teaching my daughter- different temperaments. After how hard it was on my extended family to help last year after I got sick, we had to come up with a plan B, and this is it. I guess we all just have to roll with the punches, huh.

Wow! Good for you. I would have to shoot myself if I had to homeschool my kids. I can barely get them to do their homework. Lucky for us they are smart and school work comes easy for them. I give you TONS of credit for doing that and for all the teachers out there. I just don't have the patients.

@ Ircam- Thanks for your support and encouragement. There are days... that's all I'm going to say. @ Sunnyirish- I'm sorry the girls at college are being rude to you. I'm sure you don't deserve to be treated badly. If you ever need to be cheered up, come here and we'll do our best to make you smile. Hang in there! The way rude people act is just a reflection of themselves not you.

arrrrgghhh silly teacher make no sense.
i'm still not a 100%, but still managing to go to college and attend my class even if i can't do treatments, which i thought my teachers would appreciate. one of my teachers had a rant at me for coming in at all while unable to do treatments and told me not to come in if i'm still not a 100% even though she said earlier in the discussion to come into class no matter what. so tomorrow, i not attending her class and if she gives out to me next class i'll repeat back what she said to me.
this rant is true, one my teachers treats us like 12 year olds

Sunnyirish, I'm sorry your teacher is being unreasonable. She sounds like a person that is impossible to please. You just do your best and don't worry about the teacher. I think reminding her/him what she said is a good idea. You can tell her you're doing your best to please but that you're a little confused about what she wants. Which way is it? Hopefully, she'd feel like she had to answer you because the ball is in her court at that time. You just hang in there. The holidays are coming soon, and you should get a break then, right?
