I haven't seen a movie thread started yet so I thought I would give it a go. Basically discuss new movies, movies you've seen recently, recommendations, anything!

Bad Teacher was relatively funny, but not as funny as I thought it would be. Everybody figured it would be an autobiography of me? Hell no, I'm worse, and I still have higher test scores!
I sooooo want to see Puss n Boots.
Otherwise, my movie watching days are limited. *pout*

I want to take the family to the Johnny English movie. We all went to see the first one years ago, and my husband actually laughed during it and liked it.

I recently saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon that just came out on DVD. It was aight. I have a thing for Shia Labeouf, and I liked the first one a lot, so that's why I watched it.
I can't really think of anything else I've watched recently...wow, that's bad for me. I'm an entertainment addict. Hello Netflix.

When my "other" daughter came through town on her way to Fort Hood, we saw Transformers in the movie theater. We all loved it and Hope (the one that was going to Fort Hood) said that she would have to see the other Transformer movies. LOL
Right now, I'm waiting on three movies, one of them you will laugh at, but do keep in mind that I have a vampire fettish.
1.) Breaking Dawn. I need to see this before I take my daughter to it. (Yeah, right Mom. You want to see it becuase even though the vampires are sissies and sparkle, they are vampires and you love the books because the no sex before marriage thing that is preached in them).
2.) The Philly Kid (Jan 1, 2012 release) because I was an extra in it.
3.) Switch (Not sure when it comes out, but again because I was an extra in it. And this is supposed to be a family movie.)

I'm pretty excited about it, I've seen previews and it looks goooood! I'm in no way, shape, or form a "Twi-hard" or whatever they call it, but I'm not afraid to say I'm excited. There's actually a preview on as I type this. ;D

If you guys haven't seen RealSteel see it. It was so good. Action, family, a good old fashioned Rockyesque feel good movie.

I saw the previews for that, but it kinda looked dumb. So, you thought it was good? Maybe I'll look out for it on Netflix.

I haven't even posted any of it, yet. But until I can get back into the characters, it's on hold. I'll probably wait until after Part 2 comes out before I start posting it and finish it up. LOL ;D

I too thought it would be but I was outnumbered and was very pleasantly surprised. Now I do have a tendency to like "guy" movies, but this was a nice film. It had a little of everything and the Robot boxing was amazing. The Special effects were great.

I was going to use Project Beta, but they were kinda rude in their review of chapter 2 which is why I haven't continued with it.

August Rush. not just saying that because AOL is in it, it's one of the best films i have seen in my life. great singing, great story i'm excited for puss in boots!!! stardust, oh my god, what a movie, robert de niro steals the show even though he's not lead actor in this one, charlie cox is. but oh my god, it's a brilliant movie!!! Once, an irish film, this film is simple, the music and dialogue is fantastic, it may remind me of my ex b/f, but i still love this film.
