Hi, Dianno! I'm sorry to bother you with this. I just have a real quick question. I've been experiencing problems moving from one thread to another thread for the last week. A white page shows up saying that the page took too long to load and so it shut down... something like that. Now, tonight, I had problems getting on at all. I'm just wondering if this is only happening to me so it's a problem with my computer, or are others having this same problem? Thanks!

No. I'm having the same problem. I keep checking with proboards support to see if anyone else was having problems, but they weren't. I probably need to contact them directly and see what gives.
I just checked and they are working on the issue.

This would also explain another problem, I suppose. The pages keep loading with the "new" button on some or most of the topics or threads even though there's nothing new. When I click into them and back out and then reload the page, they usually go away but next time I come in they may be back. That's a nuisance, but then a lot of the time even if I do click in the thread won't load and I get the blank message page that scarlarose is getting.

Thanks for looking into it, Di! I appreciate all the work you put into this board for our enjoyment.
Margarine, I'm experiencing that same thing, also.

Add me to that I was experiencing most of it today when a page came up with a pic of an animated guy with glasses saying that the problem was being looked at and fixed..and sometimes over the past week it's been taking long for a page to load then it goes blank saying that it took to long to load and has been reported to the boards support along those lines....

I'm experiencing it at all locations too, and the board's cookies are erasing themselves. Threads from december are showing up on my browser as 'new'

I experienced this last night as well. But only last night, I haven't had any problems for the past week or so.

Okay Everyone,
This is the response I have gotten from Proboards:
Hi,
If you had an old message that you have already read re-appear as new, that would be an issue with the cache in your web browser rather than the cookies. You may want to go into your internet options within your web browser and try clearing the temporary internet files once more, cache and cookies specifically. If you see an option for "Preserve Favorites Website Data" (Internet Explorer has this option), make sure that box is not checked when you clear the temporary internet files.
With the error message, that's one that's been reported quite a bit this week that seems to come at random. This is something our server admins have been watching and looking into.
It appears that we are going to have to hang tight and hope that Proboards get's this resolved soon. If I hear anymore I will update you.
