This SOPA and what's the other one PIPA? are pretty scary. I've been posting things on FB and Twitter, signed a petition or two. Anything else that can be done?

Just found this thread... we've been discussing SOPA and FIPA in my Spanish group, so all my info is in Spanish... but now that S&F have been put on the backburner (though they could return at any time), ACTA is rearing up in Europe.I understand the fuss and why the music and film industries want piracy stopped, BUT not at the cost of free internet and having our privacy disappear. I think it's lunacy that if you have a blog, it's going to be your responsibility to monitor any places you have links to, because if they are found to be illegal, and you don't remove your links within 5 days, you'd be shut down. Can you imagine wikipedia having to monitor every place they link to??? And our little forum??? Illegal content!!!! Copyrighted material we have no rights to post!!! Diana could be sued, fined or sent to jail. Any of you on google must have heard about the changes you must agree to, coming up on March 1? In Europe, they have asked google to forestall that while they find out how much these changes are going to put personal info in danger of exposure. Which is why I try to never put personal data anywhere on the net. I really don't think Big Brother is the answer to stopping piracy.
