Okay so i have been trying to get an account or whatever with Facebook. But every time i try, i put my phone number and then it comes up with a message about "invalid" and not able to complete or something like that and it says to come back later. Well i do and i have for over several weeks now and it says the vary same message. I retry an hr, a day, a week etc, later and it always has that message and will not allow me to activate or create an account. Am i the only one that has had that problem?!!! Oh and BTW: i have a ? about Twitter but i could not find the thread for it and i even searched for it..... But how do you write a comment on a post that you RT'ed?!

Okie, I wish I could help you, but I didn't set up my facebook page. On top of that, I'm trying to end my FB page. I want out of it. Then Twitter, I'm still learning it, and so I could use a lesson about what you're asking as well. I do remember that Dianno posted all kinds of how to videos for twitter. I'm going to go see if I can find those for you. Hopefully, I'll be right back. If not, you could youtube how to videos for twitter. I think that's where she found them.
Okay, I'm back. The twitter thread that has the videos in it is in the Smart Table section about half way down the first page. However, reading the titles of those videos makes me think that they are not going to answer your questions. I'm sorry.

Okie, long time, no see I'm not on FB, but have you tried to send a message to the support? They should be able to help you to see what's wrong. For your Twitter-question: When you have a Tweet you want to comment on and RT, then push REPLY instead of RETWEED. Copy and paste the Tweet, put an RT in front of it and then you can comment (best way before the RT). Example: Original Tweet: @janeplain Hi there! How are you? Comment & Retweeted Tweet: Good! Thanks for asking. RT @janeplain Hi there! How are you? If the retweeted Tweet gets longer than 140 sign, you best use some shortener app. There are several floating around (I don't use them, so I can't recommend one). Hope I could help you with that. I'm still learning too, so it might be a bit rough looking but it works (I'm sure there are way more elegant ways to do this).

Okie, when I joined fb my cellphone number was not strictly requested. I don't know if that changed over the last three years. Try skipping that step.

I also don't recall them demanding a phone number, because I don't think I would have joined if they had. I joined...maybe 1-1.5 years ago?

I found this FAQ on verifying accounts: www.facebook.com/help/verifyIt sounds like adding a mobile number will open up more features of Facebook, but is not necessary for just a basic account. I am absolutely positive I have never verified my account in this way, and I have all the basic FB stuff (friending, reading and sending messages, posting on walls, etc.). In any case, there are links on here which will help you get in touch with tech support. Good luck.

Plenty of people have pseudonyms and nicknames instead of their real names on their FB accounts. If I could do it over again I might do the same thing.
Is it possible to change your name on FB?
Okie, glad you finally got your account sorted out.
