As usually remember that Castle will probably be adjusted down in the finals due to DWTS overrun and (Note that the CBS affiliate in Baltimore carried the Monday Night Football game locally, so all these CBS ratings are subject to more than the typical adjustments (likely biased towards the downside).
CBS Hawaii Five-0 3.3 (18-49 Demo) 11.022 (Million Viewers) ABC Castle 2.5 (18-49 Demo) 11.113 (Million Viewers) NBC Prime Suspect -R 0.7 (18-49 Demo) 2.504(Million Viewers)

You know, I feel sorry for Prime Suspect, it's not a bad show, but that slot is going to be a killer with the H50-Castle ratings pissing match.

They are putting a news show in that timeslot eventually. At least that's what someone had said a while back when Playboy Club got cancelled.

Looks like HF-0 is closing in on Castle.

Yeah, but it will then be going up against the ABC power block on Thursdays. It is not really catching a break at all. And yes, Brian Williams gets his own show on Mondays. He's gonna get reamed.
Last night's episode was expected to be pretty high because of the crossover. I wonder what the half hour would look like on the show, when people started to figure out that Kensi was a wham bam thank you mam performance.

But there'll be dancing on Twitter. I think the ratings will keep improving, until people catch on that the promos don't reflect the whole episode.

The show last night was great. I am so glad that Hawaii five-O seems to be doing good, and closing in on Castle. I am biased, but I think Hawaii five-O is a much better show than Castle. I watch Castle On Demand on Tuesdays,l think it's a mediocre show IMO.

So who can interpret this? (rhetorical question). Just have no idea what it means.

Darksea too afraid to interpret, Darksea doesn't want to get attacked. Darksea is trying to be relatively good on Halloween.

I interpreted rating books too long ago to know what any of that means. I'm a Nielsen dinosaur.

Dani - First and Foremost the numbers you posted are the DVR numbers for Episode 204 not 206. It takes approximately 3-4 weeks after the episode airs for the DVR ratings to come in. So when you see these numbers realize they are not for last weeks episode but an the episode that aired at least 3 weeks ago. Basically what these numbers say are that the 18-49 rating jumped from 2.7 for the people who watched it live to a 3.8 for when you add the people who watched the show on their DVRs for up to 7 days after the initial airing of the show.
Now whether we should be discussing the overall viewership numbers (which this table does not give you) or the 18-49 demo numbers (which is what these are) as a indicator of whether a show is going to be renewed is a debate we have on the this board before that I am not going get into other than to say that our own TV insider, has told us on numerous occasions that the overall viewership number is the more important number.

On a brighter note from TVbyTheNumbers -- apparently according to NBC themselves, we have nothing worry when it comes to NBC putting a dent into H50's ratings.
NBC Has Low Ratings Expectations for 'Rock Center with Brian Williams'
Written By Robert Seidman
October 31st, 2011
News magazine Rock Center with Brian Williams premieres tonight and even NBC isn't expecting much in the way of ratings according to the LA Times.
"I don't pretend to think that we're gonna move the needle in the ratings when we come out of the gate," said Steve Capus, president of NBC News.
Williams puts it even more bluntly. "I know we're going to get crushed," he said on MSNBC last week.
I can't imagine NBC really cares much though since if it performs as badly or even worse than the now canceled The Playboy Club, it's still much cheaper schedule spackle. If it does better than The Playboy Club (and that's still not "good"), it will be a bonus for NBC.
I'd caution fans of NBC's Grimm to wait a couple of more weeks before deciding whether Grimm should move to Mondays at 10p, Wednesdays at 9p or Thursdays at 10p!

Darksea can bite me. Thanks, Diana. I wasn't sure if it meant they add DVRd stuff to it or what. Noooooo, don't want more debates re ratings or have another lesson in ratings either 'cause I think I flunked the course alrady.
