Hey , I always support Spain if England get knocked out , most of my Husbands family are out there so its like a second home, but I also like Ireland to do well so good luck. France seem to be playing well at the moment so I think they might do well.

i'm still peeved at france, because of henry's handling the ball twice that knocked us out of the world cup  didn't realize they were playing well, surprised i haven't heard anything about in house fighting between the players

Obviously I'm supporting England, but when they get knocked out I might go for Spain, because I love their style of play. An eventful start, anyway, Poland vs Greece - have to admit that I cheered for that substitute goalie when he saved that penalty

Sadly Sunny it looks like we'll be coming home in about a week or so I'd been hoping we'd manage a sneaky draw. Performance against Croatia doesn't give hope since we have to play Spain and Italy next Fiona

Sadly for this fottie tournament, the optimist in me stayed away Yeah I've seen the trouble out there....But thankfully it's not involved us! I've not seen too many of the flags but those I have seen are brilliant Fiona

WOW, soccer fans here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I root for Czech Republic because of my parents, and Germany because I just like the team since 8 years ago. I go against Italy to piss off my hubby and sons. I love World Cup, Eurocup and the South American Cup, but I don't watch other soccer matches, when the teams are made up of whoever the team can afford to buy... I like the national teams that are actually made up of people from that country. Great two days for me lately - the Czech win which had the fastest 2 goals in the history of the Euro, and today's German win.

Germany looked very strong last night, looks like they could be real contenders. England play again on Friday, but I dont hold out much hope.

I love the soccer and all, but (fangirl moment here).... I also like looking at all those gorgeous men get all sweaty and bothered. When Mario Gomez took off his jersey yesterday to exchange it ... and he didn't have an undershirt on.... it was just skin and muscles.... oh my! OK, moment over. You all knew I'm a dirty old woman.
