i saw the look, i saw the face when he realized she was moving half way around the world. and judging by their conversation in episode 16 season 2, it didn't feel like ether one was using each other. and they looked comfortable in each other's company and come on, he brought her chocolates and he did his reserve training on the enterpise so he could be close to her on the very LONG flight. if that doesn't tell us that there something more there, than i don't know what will.
not even going to near the kono/adam relationship, i really want to see where that goes and mostly how the ohana reacts to that news.

I agree Jox but sadly our opinion anymore isn't worth anything some posters get all upset when you say something against Cath or Steve.Yes we have not seen enough of Adam & Kono's relationship but the same can be said of McCath to.I'm not a fan of couples on these types of shows it just ruins the feel and over all look of the show.It needs more action and less angst from returning dead parents and returning girlfriends.Sorry if this sounds harsh but dam some here have jumped all over Jox for voicing her opinion.

I questioned one aspect of what Jox said that I feel is not borne out by what we've seen. I did not "jump all over her". As a matter of fact, I would tend to agree with her opinion that female characters get short shrift on the show.

Yeah, that's quite a lot, even for SuperSEAL!

I think Koji was killed by his brother Hiro, because it was Koji who 'messed up' and brought attention to the 'family business'... hence the little meeting at the gulf course.

I literally had to walk away to relax myself, and come back because I was fuming. The point "some posters" were addressing was the statement Jox made about Steve using Cath for information and sleeping with her. I don't know if how it sounded is how Jox intended. But we simply stated our opinion. For me, it was more about defending Steve's character, than his relationship with Catherine. Don't you know by now that I'm one of the most skeptical/anti-McCath poster here? I mean, I even stated that in my post replying to Jox's post. As far as your comment about your opinion counting less than other's. Where did that come from? This is the second time I've seen someone take something completely in a different direction. This is for everyone. I can't believe I even have to say this. No one's opinion counts more than anyone else's. No one's. Everyone here has the right to state their opinion. I know Di has mentioned many times before that she's a big believer in freedom of speech, and so am I. This is a discussion board. There are bound to be people with different opinions/likes/dislikes than you. You can either handle that or not. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm not trying to convince/force anyone to leave, but if you can't handle discussing difference in opinions, what are you doing here? Lately it seems this has been a recurring issue. I'm not sure why. I don't really know what to do about it either. But it's making things very unpleasant. Please don't mistake a difference in opinion, as one that's more important. (I've been trying to rewrite this last sentence to make sure it makes sense. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? I don't know how to word it better right now.)

I suppose I should mind my own business, but I'll take a chance and add one more comment to Musicfreak's well-written post.
It may seem like people are "jumping all over" Jox and her opinion because quite a number of folks posted a dissenting opinion to hers. Everyone, please remember, holding a *minority* opinion is not the same as holding a "less important" opinion. Jox and DF happen to hold a minority opinion on Cath/Steve, and they have every right to express that opinion. But guess what, it goes both ways, and everyone else should have the right to express their version of the majority opinion as well, without being accused of being intolerant.
Every once in a while, someone is going to be the odd man out on an issue. That's life, might as well shrug your shoulders and accept that no one else sees the world quite the way you do. Frankly, it would be a pretty boring board if we all thought the same way.

I think Adam has and will continue to play a bigger role with Kono than just a "boy toy" for Kono. Hope Cath plays more than "casual sex for confidential information" with Steve this season too.. As I see it, Steve only slept with Cath to get confidential information from her, same as Kono did with Adam. TPTB don't seem to write female characters that are basically using their sexuality as a means of obtaining information, When a strong female characters like Gabby, Rachel B4 turning mushy, Gov. Jameison and Malia, they are either warehoused, MIA, or killed. It seems the female character like Cath will be sexing it up to get information from Wit Sec too. Another female character that MAY be ruined by taking her intelligence skills and dumbing them down in to a short skirt and stilletos. Hope not, but TPTB's track record on empowered female characters has always been an issue for me. Wow, that's what you see? What "confidential information" has Steve gotten from Catherine? And Kono from Adam, for that matter? You make it sound like Steve is some kind of Mata Hari. And I don't think we've seen enough of Kono and Adam's relationship to make any kind of judgment. I was voicing my perception of Steve/Cath and Adam/Konos relationship as I see it. Every viewer perceives what they watch differently from each other. I was offended by your Mata Hari comment goldberry. I felt the Mata Hari comment was self righteous and over the top since I view Steve and Cath's relationship as a friends with benefits type relationship, and that opinion differs from yours.

My advice to myself and to other posters is to be kind and tolerant. I believe it's just not what you say but how you say it. Sarcasm doesn't translate well in print. Be aware of inflammatory words that may escalate in to hard feelings. And, if you think you're being nasty, you probably are. This happens from time to time on the board and it's the moderator's job to monitor the flow and tone of discussions. As individual's we need to think before we hit send and to use "I" statements instead of "you" statements which make other's feel attacked. I will do my best to follow my own advice. #nuff said
