The whole half-brother thing just seems so predictable. Hopefully too predictable, and PL wouldn't go with that.
Although, we viewers did figure out the predictable Shelbourne is McMommy thing.

Hi all, slowly working through S3 reruns, up to the Chin/prison riot episode after the Superbowl, Sang Ming escapes prison . . . I don't remember if we've seen him again since then, thought maybe he would pop in the season finale, but didn't . . . SO . . . a follow-up on Sang Ming, where he's been, what he's doing would be nice. I'm sure his reappearance is in the works at PL likes to take his time on storylines, but something I would like to see.
And the occasional reference (even if it is just a verbal reference/passing comment) to Rachel and her current situation would be nice. Don't need another hook-up/pregnancy, or the level of her appearances in the first two seasons (although I did enjoy her), but it is like she has dropped off the face of the earth, and she is the mother of Grace and Danny would be having occasional contact/issues with the ex situation.
And yes, more explanation from Joe on his involvement with Shelbourne over the years, and a return of Mary once in a while, to interact with both Steve and Doris and see how she is handling the return of Mommy.

What I would like to see in s4 a lot more core 4 (as soon as Kono returns) other characters are not necessary.

@kecksexclusives: what we say is, while it may seem obvious that Wo Fat is Doris's son, the @hawaiifiveocbs writers don't do obvious. Stay tuned. @plenkov: "@lmk66: @tvguidemagazine confirms Doris is Wo Fat's mom per @plenkov #H50 . But is McG her son?" Don't believe everything you read Not that I agree that the H50 writers don't do obvious...shelburne/Doris anybody? But is that first tweet saying that the half-brother plot is NOT happening??  |

Maybe the late Gov. Jameson is Steve's Mom. I had this thought back in season 1--but when Wo Fat killed her I dismissed it. Wo Fat killing Steve's Mom? Yeah -Wo Fat would do that.....which would mean Wo Fat is responsible for killing both of Steve's parents. |

The only way they could do this is if they're going to try to make Wo Fat quite a bit younger than Mark Dacascos is. They're doing it with Grace Park who is older than AOL and SC but plays younger. Any storyline that makes Doris and Wo Fat mother and son is just going to make me go ewwwww!

Now that I look at it this morning....it seems like it would be really soapy no matter which way they go with the Doris story line. Oy. Well having a mother that was previously dead come back to life is classic soap opera......I guess they are just running with it . |

I think Doris is Steve's mom - they have made her out to be too much like Steve not to be his mom.
And I am hoping Doris is not WoFat's mom.
But we will just have to wait to see.
