Sunset On The Beach has been confirmed by Peter for Saturday 13th September 2014. I hope they have the date right as this is 2 weeks before Five 0 airs on TV so most people will know what happen.

For the fifth year in a row, CBS will premiere the new season of “Hawaii Five-0” at its popular Sunset on the Beach red carpet party on Waikiki Beach, the network announced Wednesday.
CBS will screen the season premiere on Sept. 13, which is nearly two weeks before the network debut on Sept. 26.
The event, which draws thousands of fans from around the world, has become a fall “Five-0” tradition. The network, and especially the show’s executive producer, Peter Lenkov, consider it a way to thank fans.
“It allows me the privilege of sharing our premiere episode with our extended family on the most beautiful beach in the world,” Lenkov said. “So if you ask if I am excited — I am. More than words can describe. Mahalo.”
The event includes regular cast members and guest stars who arrive, usually after a full day of shooting, dressed in tuxedos and gowns and walk a red carpet along the shore.
This season will see a significant milestone in the rebooted version of “Five-0”: Its 100th episode.
“In an era when everyone’s attention is divided by a plethora of media choices, it’s humbling to have a show that’s about to celebrate its 100th episode,” Lenkov said. “And we’ll be shooting that episode during Sunset On The Beach, which has turned out to be the highlight of every season.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. There are special signs put up near the filming areas, to both warn and alert traffic. I was told it looks like an eye, so I assume they mean the CBS logo. |

It never occurred to me that they'd schedule it so early. I suppose, being the 100th episode, they're expecting everyone to be in it so that also means that the whole cast should be in Hawaii for this year's SOTB. |

I am piss off sorry about for the French about the dates as well. I will be on holiday for 2 week with that weekend in the middle. I thought I would be back for SOTB and see it live on my computer. Now I will miss everything all the interviews, Photo's, Cake cutting everything. So hope fully some of you will post all the photo's and interviews here so I don't have to going looking when I get back from holiday.

I wish it weren't so early--that is almost 2 weeks before the TV premiere to not look at certain posts-or accidentally stumble upon spoilers. Oh well--not as much suspense over what is going to happen this year. Happy we have a 5th year!  |

The British rock band Bush will perform at next month’s Sunset on the Beach premiere of “Hawaii Five-0,” CBS announced Thursday.
The outdoor concert Sept. 13 on Queen’s Surf Beach will follow the red-carpet arrival of the show’s cast and the advance screening of the new season’s first episode.
Bush, comprising singer/guitarist Gavin Rossdale, guitarist Chris Traynor, drummer Robin Goodridge, and bassist Corey Britz, has recorded six albums since forming in the 1990s. The band landed numerous singles on the Billboard rock charts. Their second album “Razorblade Suitcase” was Billboard’s No. 1 album in 1996.
Although the band started in London, its been hugely popular in the United States, selling more than 10 million records. Bush’s albums have gone platinum multiple times.
Starting the fall TV season by giving Hawaii fans a sneak preview of “Five-0” has become a tradition for the show since it started in 2010. Each Sunset on the Beach event has attracted thousands of fans. Last year, though, CBS added a concert to the event and brought the Jonas Brothers to Hawaii for a performance.
This year follows in that vein and is part of the network’s celebration of the 100th episode of “Five-0.” The cast and crew will be shooting the 100th episode the week of Sunset on the Beach and numerous studio executives will be in the islands to mark the event.
Show stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, Masi Oka, Chi McBride and Jorge Garcia will attend.
