Is the man who plays Mr. Ko (Enson Inoue) Alex O'Loughlin's martial arts coach who recently retired in Japan? His name seems familiar to me.

I'm still a little incoherent about that ending, so bear with me. Not to be heartless, but that whole change of heart thing was over the top, even for H50. I can't get over how H50 manages to present two such polar stories in one episode. One for the birds, the other just WOW. Anyhow.... - Danno's house looks nice - I don't think I've ever seen it before. - He's a lousy housekeeper, though. Dirt and money all over the place. - Matty managed to spend $5.5 million? - How long does it take to count $13.5 million anyhow? Were they really big bills or something? - a cop needs a favour and Ko turns him down? He doesn't want a cop in his pocket? Did he think he it was a trap? - just when I was thinking poor sap Bristol was framed .... he turns ninja on me. Is he related to Alias Sidney Bristol? - Why would What's-His-Name in jail give Chin that kind of money? ? - Not-Bristol sees cop, I see good-looking guy with Bluetooth. - And again a 5-0 team member makes a supermove on a car. Chin's up next. - Not-Bristol-Killer finds a way to get a housecall. - The bromance is still on and stronger than ever. I love these two guys. - Missed the "cargument" with Grover and Steve since I couldn't hear it, but it looked funny. - Advice for bad guys - never drive when you've been shot, you're bound to get caught. - Valentine had a change of heart - literally. He's a sweetheart now. - EVERYONE is having a change of heart today. - I have a basement, Jerry! - Bagosa believes in having your cake and eating it too. - Valentine made Bagosa wet his pants. - Matty in a can? - Dumbo Ears is SO dead - you don't threaten Monkey. - That ending. No words. My sweet little by-the-book Danno. Can't blame him. - There's got to be more to this, isn't there? ??

I agree with Dannos Dani....the story of the week...a bit over the top but this is Hawaii 50 reboot. But that ending was amazing but I have a few questions that I hope are answered next week such as Is Matty definitely in the container and did they get the $18 mil back.... How does a hoodlum get 5 million dollars? ...I forget his deal other than he's Chin's nere do well brother in law who killed Chin's father? I just wish there was time for the aftermath of the ending.....

Back again, can't help thinking that ending over and over in my mind. So I'm thinking Matty was never in the can. Dumbo Ears never had him. Matty is still an undercover agent and he's still somewhere doing the job. Dumbo Ears knew Matty had hidden the money so he devised the kidnap story to get Danno to find him the money. Now competing drug lords will send Danno a thank-you card for getting rid of Dumbo Ears. But poor Danno is going to suffer for a number of episodes. He'll have to tell his family. Don't let him suffer for too long, PL. And please no comforting from Bambi.What's-Her-Name the jailbait girlfriend.

"Really could use the Commander right about now." What a great line from Grover! It's not that I'm anti-Grover, I'm just not a fan of any 5th member,.. but kudos when they're due, and that was a great line because the rest of us all seem to miss S1 Commander McG as well.
Oh, crap! What has our Danno done?! I'm not seeing how the writers/producers are gonna get Danno out of that situation... it's not like it could have been a dream or something like that, can it? Wonder if the next episode will have them back in Hawaii as if nothing had happened. As if Danno had not just murdered someone. That's gonna mess up his head, that's for sure. Maybe we'll get the S1 angry Danny back again?
Didn't see the entire episode, so I'll have to re-watch the whole thing to make more comments.

If that really is Matty in the can, they better have some story in the future about how he was working undercover and died in the line of duty. After three years, fans deserve some sort of explanation as to what really went on with Matty, and if it turns out he really was a crook, I'm going to be pissed off.
You'd think Steve would have checked the can before letting Danno kill Dumbo Ears. What if it isn't Matty, what if there isn't even a body in there, and they've just killed the only person that can tell them anything?

Okay so the ending was mind blowing. I'll give a detailed recap later. And I hope this does not bother Danny for a long time

My take on the ending is that Matt WAS in the barrel. If he wasn't really dead and canned, don't you think when Danny had the gun right up in Reyes face, he (Reyes) would have said, "Wait ... wait ... he's not really in there and I can tell you where he is?" Instead he just stood there like a scared fool who'd run out of options and knew his time was up. I don't think Matt was undercover; I think it was exactly what we all thought it was way back when he got on that plane and flew out of Hawaii. He thought he could make back the money he lost for his investors and he screwed up even worse than he already had.
So now what I'm wondering ... they obviously went into Columbia under the radar. You don't just casually stroll into a country like Columbia with $18 million in 4 duffel bags and tell customs, "Oh, it belongs to some drug lord and we're returning it to him." So, since it seems that they had to have snuck into the country and there didn't appear to be anyone left alive in that little underground compound, do Danny and Steve take the four duffel bags with them, climb back into whatever plane they used and sneak back to Hawaii with the money? I would! Maybe Danny will take the money and use it to pay back Matt' investors.
Danno's Dani, What's-His-Name in jail (Gabriel Waincroft) once offered Chin $25 million NOT to arrest him (after he'd been shot and was trying to crawl away). I guess he felt that $5 million was worth it to be taken out of general population and quit having the $%#^ beat out of him. If I was in jail for murder and had $25 million hidden away somewhere that I probably figured I'd never get to use, I'd give someone a fifth of it if I thought it would make things easier on me. AND he probably thinks he has Chin in his pocket now. Malia would be so ashamed of her brother!
I have to admit that I wasn't ready to hear that a change of heart would cause Valentine to have a change of heart. I actually thought it was going to be something like the first guy he "saved" offered him more money just to let him disappear and they came to some arrangement that saved all those other people as well. I have actually heard people say that receiving an organ from someone, when they know who the person is and that they were this wonderful, upstanding person, has had an effect on them and made them want to live up to what people had come to expect from the deceased. So I'm not going to say I thought it was totally far-fetched ... but it was a pretty big stretch when you consider who the recipient was.

Okay so the ending was mind blowing. I'll give a detailed recap later. And I hope this does not bother Danny for a long time LOL! Mind blowing in more than one way, huh? I'm thinking since Danny had just heard his daughter threatened that he's going to feel justified in what he did and it won't bother him for long. Especially if he uses the money to pay back Matt's investors. There wasn't even a ripple when Chin blew away one of the Baldwin brothers and he and Danny were both, at one time, by-the-book cops. So, IDK...
