Well-----response on twitter was very positive. I didn't think it was that good. It seems they are trying to tie up a lot of story lines tonight....and of course, we all know how PL likes to make us wait for stories to end. It took half the show before Danny and Steve ended up on camera together in the same shot and scene. Steve and Lou spent a lot of time in the Camaro...what is Danny driving? They just aren't putting Steve and Danny in scenes together like they used to.........what is up with that? Felt like Hawaii 5-0 lite tonight.

Being an Elvis fan I figured this would be a good episode. - Jerry doesn't look too bad as Elvis - Someone didn't like the Elvis impersonation? He wasn't THAT bad, killing him is kind of harsh, no? - Has Grover usurped Danno's place as Steve's BFF? They're even having a pizza cargument. This is just not right. - And, HOW do you smuggle in all those pizzas? ?? - I thought Max had dressed up as Colonel Sanders.... - Visions of Jin Chin back on the Lost island - Groupie grannies and Elvis trannies - Case is solved, so what are we gonna do for the next 45 minutes? - Well, OK then, carry on with the next related murder. - You can take Elvis but don't hurt Max! - Elvis has left the building - Obviously there are real rubies and sapphires sewn onto the costume, Grover. - And Steve confirms my suspicious mind. Except I didn't think of diamonds. - Anyone else get the warm fuzzies while the Core 4 worked together? We need more scenes like this one. - Elvis almost left the building but Jerry saved the day. - That costume is ruined now. - And Jerry stole my joke. - He's no Elvis, but he's also not bad. - Isn't that Adam and his father?

I didn't think that was Hiro Noshimuri (sp?) --I mean- wasn't he sliced up by Wo Fat in Japan? I figured it was someone from the Yakuza.......I shall have to go back and watch it again. And Dani--you did point out a lot of good things about this episode. I'm not a huge Elvis fan (never have been)--so maybe that has shaded my opinion......but the whole McDanno thing not being there really bugs me.... 8-(

It took half the show before Danny and Steve ended up on camera together in the same shot and scene. A little earlier: 12:09: 14:02 And so there was a lot more scenes Steve-Danny than I thought, because in the early days of the filming of this episode was not Scott on the set. After a few days, came to the set. In episodes 5.22, 5.24 and 5.25 are in almost every scene together, judging by pictures of the set.

Some speculate that the picture was the father Wo Fat, but for me it does not make sense. Because he is in prison, and why Adam would see him.

We have had better episode but this was kind of fun one
Not really a Elvis fan or Jerry fan
I loved we got more Steve and Grover working together love their friendship. Disappointed that we did not see Grover go to Chicago to try and prove Clay's guilt We got the whole team working together. Love the ending with all of them together. I am interested in what Adam is up to and why is he with Sato the head of Yakuzas. Is Adam still working for them and going behind Kono back. What a twist that would be. Is Gabriel Setting Adam up. Chin, Kono and Adam storyline what is Gabriel going to do. Not bother if Danny is in the episode or not don't like his character anymore. I would rather see Danny team up with Chin or Kono more Not with Steve.

I am interested in what Adam is up to and why is he with Sato the head of Yakuzas. This is not Sato. This is Sato: Sato is an oyabun. That means he's a boss of one of the families. Maybe the guy in the picture also is a boss of one of the families.

Not sure who Adam is with other than probably someone with the Yakuza. Why? We've been lead to believe that he is trying to get out/legitimize the business - if they are returning to that explanation but Kono is still suspicious/not trusting, we've been there done that. So not sure where this is going. I enjoyed the Elvis theme/storyline, just listened to my Elvis CDs the other day and was wondering when H50 would decide to include a strong Elvis-Hawaii tie-in. Jerry can sing! How do you transport pizzas in a suitcase? Sorry, I'm not eating them.

Read all the reviews before I started watching the episode... now I know what everyone was talking about with the pizzas. Yes, you can take food through security. Yes, you'll want to make sure it's in your carry-on. Yes, it could fit under the seat. It's just a 10 hour flight (it's 5&1/2 hrs just from LA)? So no, I wouldn't eat it, either. Call me picky if you want, but I think I'll agree with Steve on this one and pass on the delicious opportunity for food poisoning. Although I must say; Grover's expression when Steve turned down the opportunity to be 'cut in on a slice' was totally worth the trip to the airport.
On the plus side - which was not the pizza, as Grover claimed - is that they followed up on the trip to Chicago and didn't leave us to ass-ume anything, as they often do.
Gotta love Max taking every apparent opportunity to be in costume.
Question: Why is the vic in his dressing room instead of still on stage? Surely Max would not let anyone move the body. The body should still be on the stage... probably with the fans being held back <insert snicker here>
Seeing Jerry in a form-fitting Elvis costume. There are just not proper words to describe that moment. Hopefully it was a better moment in front of his 10th grade class, despite the option of the suit still fitting.
I'm sorry, was all of that too trivial? (good line, Danny)
Or maybe the trivial information would be that the rest of Larry's 'side-burn chasers' knows that the rest of him still works. Don't know about the rest of you, but I reacted the same way Grover did.
Kaleo's voice wasn't particularly noteworthy (no pun intended) but I did like his guitar work, despite not being a fan of cover songs.
But wait a minute... where exactly are those pizzas Grover still wants to get home?
So, at 19 minutes in, the case is solved? Crazy lady! Now what? More. Of course there's more. Good timing, Danny, but how are you getting around since Steve (for some unknown reason) is driving your car?
Danny quoting Jerry about the 'Elvii' was good.
Could have done without knowing Barry was going through a cleanse, although the scene was funny. Oh, Barry, Barry, Barry,... you are destined to be someone's prison B eventually.
Awesome trick guitar case! (but the guy's a lousy shot!)
At the Sheraton? What happened to the Hilton being a blatant sponsor?
I prefer God as my co-pilot, but I can understand Jerry's shirt for the scenario. Is that really Jorge Garcia singing? If so; impressive.
I'd been wondering why Dale wasn't in the episode's cast list. Now I see that it's just a photo of him. The guy in the photo with Adam looks so familiar. It's not Sato, as Smolek pointed out. And it's not Hiro Noshimuri, Adam's deceased father. Doesn't look like Uncle Koji, either. Still can't figure out why he looks familiar.
At least they didn't end the episode with them all eating the pizza!

The photo shows Adam with an unknown man... probably a member of the Yakuza. Hiro Noshimori is dead because Wo-Fat murdered him. Remember that bloody bathtub in Japan when Steve went looking for Wo-Fat?

If it is Wo-Fat's father, wouldn't he be much older?

Remember that bloody bathtub in Japan when Steve went looking for Wo-Fat? Yes, I do remember the bathtub. But with the twists and turns this show takes sometimes, I never rule anything out unless it was Max that did the autopsy. ;-) I suppose it being Papa Fat is possible. Not sure he'd have to be much older than in that photo. Am hoping it is something innocent, like Adam trying to stave off a problem or threat. Or perhaps it is one of Adam's few remaining relatives that is not tied to the Yakuza that he is simply visiting or asking advice of. I'm going to think happy thoughts until proven otherwise.
