- Ugh, Waffling Rachel. Has she decided she wants Danno again? - Steve and Danno together - that's getting to be rare these days - if the vic was a bounty hounter, why not just tell the cop? - I'd like to see more of Ellie - Danno-Steve carguments, I've missed you! - love Smartass Danno - "you can't drop something slowly" - didn't know bounty hunting was so competitive - ugh, big surprise, Charlie is Danno's kid - takes a Dog to know a cat's next move - sicko guy killed the dad now?  - Shriner's hospitals do amazing things for kids. Good plug. - can someone please tell me what the whole point of the ugh-y Charlie thing was? ? - Ouch - someone must be an old cowboy movie fan with the old rope across the road trick - wow, everyone is coming back tonight - can we expect Mama MG next? - Boy, Steve and Cath look positively thrilled to see one another.... - Powder-blue crushed velvet tux for Max, please - well, you don't kill a pilot while he's flying the plane, Max. Of course they waited till they landed before killing him. - Some things never change - Cath is still doing favours for Steve. Is she technically still 5-0? - interesting shot by MG - Steve is a man of few words - Steve must be a Person of Interest John Reese fan, shooting kneecaps all over the place - considering he's shot in the knee, this guy sounds amazingly healthy - Kono will do whatever it takes to have her wedding day - so she saves the day and finds the nuke - love nervous Danno - Tony Manero Max. Still like the idea of the powder-blue crushed velvet tux, though - Fly faster, Steve. You're holding up the wedding - "you don't get to die today, even thought it'd make my life quieter" - Kamekona the business magnate is going to own Hawaii one day - good thing Kono saved the world in full wedding makeup and hair - guess this means Adam is toast now? - love Mrs. Grover - that's putting Grover in his place! - Gabriel breached the space-time continuum - so is Kono married or not? Have a great summer, everyone! |

Ep 5.24 Luapoi Good episode
I all ways love Steve and Chin working together going over the photo's of Adam wondering who the guy is
I loved cargument felt like it came from season 1 or 3. Steve is so not over Catherine he is still in love with her.
Rachel is a bit of a bitch keeping her secret from Danny that Charlie was his son and only telling him now because he is sick. All the time that Danny has missed with Charlie growing up
All the banter between Steve and Danny in this episode was like from season 1 and 3
Loved the talk between Steve and Danny about Rachel.
Loved all the action and Bad Ass Steve.
Ep 5.25 Loved it great episode
WOW Steve coming out of the water shirtless and wet. The look on Steve face when he saw Catherine
Love that Catherine is back. Love all the Steve and Cath scenes
Love Chin having a talk with Adam
Loved Cath helping the team. Loved the banter between Steve and Danny in this episode
The friendship between Kono and Catherine when they are holding hands
Loved seeing Steve and the guys all dress up in Tux and suits.
Loved all the action and glad to see Bad Ass Steve back doing his stuff
Steve and Danny in the helicopter loved when they got back and Steve kissed and hugged Cath, and Danny hugged Kono.
Kono looked stunning in her wedding dress and Adam looked good as well. It was nice seeing Kono's parents at the wedding as well
Steve and Cath at the wedding saying to each other I missed you I missed you too loved it.
Gabriel what a nasty guy what is going to happen with Chin.
We never got to see the wedding so dose Kono marry Adam. I think this and what happen to Chin will open up season 6

I thought these episodes were fantastic. It was the Hawaii 5 0 that I know and love. Bromance was alive and well!!
I was wrong...woohoo!!! If there is a season 6, there is no reason to think that SC/Danno wont be there. I think they have set up a possible Danno Rachel reunion as AmberMelissa won't trust him anymore...
I loved the action too-nothing like bad ass Steve McG-so true Mandyblue
The core 4 was there and the bit players were there just enough to have the one line they had be so typical and great of their characters....
I couldn't get enough and I want more more more....there had better be a season6...and beyond.....

Loved both episodes. Steve in bamf mode and in that tux. Both stories flowed.
I do have one thing I felt Catherine's character was flat there was no feeling and it felt awkward to me

I agree with what everyone is saying here....they were really good episodes. Rita 162--you are right-Catherine was really flat. Especially in that first scene where she meets Steve at his house as he is getting out of the ocean. Really flat.
I called it on Charlie being Danny's child....and about Tuesday I figured the one way they always find out paternity on a show is the kid is really sick and needs bone marrow from a close relative. That is usually how the "dad" finds out the kid isn't his.....
I think there will be a 6th season. If not, that ending really sucked for a series finale.

I've always liked Rachel, even when she was giving Danny grief. But they've totally trashed her character by making her tell Danny about Charlie only because she had to. I'm presuming they wouldn't have had this big reveal if Charlie wasn't sick. Rachel could have kept her comfortable life and left Danny in the dark. PL said this was the start of a storyline for Danny so I'm guessing that means it gives Scott a logical reason not to be in Hawaii during various episodes because he and Grace have gone to Las Vegas to visit Charlie. Or there are further medical treatments. Shriners has been around for a loooong time and I was glad to see them get the plug. I always donate to them when I see them collecting on street corners because they helped my sister when she was very young; medical treatments my parents could not have afforded.
I didn't see a spark between Steve and Catherine and I was actually kinda disappointed that Steve was "saved by the bell" when Cath asked how long he wanted her to stay. Even if it was snarky, I’d have liked to see a hurt Steve say he didn’t care. She told him to move on then comes to Hawaii and shows up at his house first thing in the morning. That’s kind of presumptuous; like saying she didn’t think he was actually capable of moving on. How did she know that no one else was there with Steve?
Which leads to this week’s ‘carguments’ … LOVED THE S1 FEEL! The wall of silence was vintage cargument! Steve never really admitted that Catherine was his girlfriend until the very end ... and now just telling Danny he's not ready to move on. Both of them wanting personal details but neither one of them wanting to give them. Also vintage cargument! And all the rest with Steve and Danny. The partnership of S1! Loved it all! I do believe we’re getting a Season 6 and I think PL has to have known that to give us a cliffhanger, mild though it was. But if we don’t get an S6, how sad that they waited this long to get back to the feel of what made us all love the show to begin with. We can only hope, at this point, that they still get it right in S6.
And lastly, I have to mention this ... a friend and I were discussing what Rachel’s big secret might be. We tossed out various things and would then try to decide why that could or couldn't be it. When we considered that it might be that Grace wasn’t Danny’s daughter she asked why Rachel wouldn’t have used that before to take Grace away from Danny. I suggested that maybe Rachel hadn’t been sure but that Grace was sick and had had a blood test and it was obvious, now, that Danny wasn’t her father. DUH! Didn’t even consider that that was why she’d tell him that Charlie was his son!

Loved the bromance this episode. It was great.
I think Cath and Steve were a bit unsure around each other but that kind of makes sense. Neither one of them knew how the other would react. Despite what others are saying I like Cath back and hope we see some of her next season.
Thought it was a good episode.

Good to see Catherine back, will be interesting to see if she is around for S6 and if we get any conversation between her and Steve regarding the "break." I guess it was all-help-needed to find the nukes, but I found it weird that she was instantly back in her role of helping 5-0/contacting her people/etc. after being gone for a year. Just seemed a bit strange to me. And I know none of them stopped to change
into non-wedding clothes to chase the nuke, but Cath in her heels and bright blue dress going after the trolley also just seemed weird. But go girl for not letting it stop you!
I hadn't even considered that the wedding didn't continue/finish - I sure hope it did, or we see the conclusion next fall. Could be interesting to watch Adam work to start his life over, still threats from the Yakuza over his leaving the business, I could see some creative writing with that storyline and how he and Kono adjust to life together.
Don't know if I like the hint of a very dark road ahead for Chin, hope he finds a way to avoid that/turn it back on Gabriel and get the bad guy. He's has too many dark dilemmas/challenges over the last 5 years. Can't he just have a happy/easy path for a while with more "normal" challenges?
Like the suggestion that medical treatments can be the reason/explanation for Danny not being in Hawaii all the time, if it keeps him on the show otherwise - he adds so much to it overall and especially with his relationship with Steve - to allow Scott to do other work - although I would prefer him on 5-0 fulltime.
