I'd totally forgotten about the nephew. Anyone else think "Brendan Frasier's younger brother" when they look at Eric?
Loved the morgument (and the writers liked my word)
Danno and Steve's faces. Who can forget "aneurysm face"?
Shirtless Steve twice in an episode. Are they trying to give Steve fans heart attacks?
Sugarlips. Now I'm thinking M*A*S*H and Hotlips.
Talk about laundering money clean.
Danno's being meddlesome again.
Kono should really consier wearing a paper bag over her head so no more guys fall for her.
Shrimp pot pie actually sounds not bad.
Guess the bad guy does mind having a word with Steve. But hey, good way to show SuperSEAL is still around to save the pier world.
So why exactly did Cath bother coming back?

This was a very good episode tonight. I loved how Danny tried to protect Steve. I am sad that Catherine left Steve. She lied to him about Nepal. I think she is working for the CIA. Catherine gave similar codes on the phone just like Doris did when she back to the CIA. I wonder if Catherine and Doris McGarrett will work together in a future episode. Steve has been hurt a lot by the women in his life. I am disappointed with how the writers have woven this story line. I still think Catherine and Steve are good match but obviously the writers have other plans.

Big Cath/Steve fan and really liked the way they ended it. Totally didn't expect it. Was totally falling for her line she needed more and completely understood that. But happy to see she is involved in some secret mission. I believe this mission involves her protecting Steve in some way. Otherwise she would have never left him. She is doing this for him. Liked the montage. And she is back in the Navy - yeah!

I'm not surprised that it happened, looking at a lot of hatred toward Michelle/Catherine (eg. on Twitter) for a longer time. I think she return to Navy, or she will work for CIA. I think this is the first. As the mission is secret, she couldn't tell Steve why she have to leave Hawaii for some time.
It was nice to see again the E-Train. He has cool scenes with Danny and Kono. Besides great scenes McDanno. Great twist of who is behind the murder of this guy in case the week. Totally didn't expect, I thought it was the character played by Michael Maize.
PS. If it has to do with Doris (that example Cath search Doris), it maybe this storyline will return at the end of the season (and may even Cath returning, though after this montage I don't know). Because at the end season returning storyline of Doris, and according words Lenkov, writers ending this storyline.
Yesterday aired baseball, which achieves great audience, so it can be hard for a good audience H50 this week.

Very good episode. Enjoyed Steve and Danny on the boat. Eric made me laugh. Felt for Steve in last scene. Cath used him and hope this is the last goodbye-she was wearing red and the montage suggests the end to me.

Hope they revisit this in the future. |

I was expecting Cath's departure, the montage made it look like for good (clearly a diversion, or a way to show what was going through their minds as they parted), wasn't expecting the phone call. I think CIA, will tie to Doris, all to help/protect Steve somehow in the long, and she will be back.
Eric was a fresh breeze of humor, he did a great job, but a little goes a long way, hope he tones it down in the future.

I enjoyed the episode. A very tiny, microscopic amount of Eric and Jerry goes a very, very, very long ways.......hope TPTB will see this.
I expected Catherine to leave. I understand the reason she gave Steve. No fun being a wife who is only known for who her husband is. ....nice to have your own thing that contributes to the world. I half expected her to do what happened after she left...the call...probably from the CIA. If this is the last year for the series...then they have a lot to wrap up.
Wish they would let Steve have a happy ending. He will eventually find out the Cath not only left him, but she lied about it. Another Doris. Whether or not it was to protect him --or if the CIA/Navy has information on her and they forced her hand to help them out. Who knows? I hope we don't have to wait until the last episode of the season to find out.

It seems to me that this is something more. It seems to me that Cath was forced to lie to Steve, because of its mission. Maybe she wanted to tell the truth, but they will not let it (the Navy or the CIA). If she said, she or Steve could be in trouble. Although Steve is close with Danny nothing he speak about any missions in the Navy. They are bound to secrecy. Or she simply protects Steve, we know that in 4x21 Steve has already warned that he would go to jail, maybe the CIA threatened her if she do not do this mission, Steve may not be safe.
Until we know the real reason I'm not going to judge. Of course, this does not look good, but it seems to me that there is something more. Maybe at the end of the season will be revealed.

PL did the safe thing - for those who like Cath - there is the possibility she will be back and we are lead to believe she is doing a noble thing - not just walking away and for those who don't like Cath - they don't have to see her for a while or maybe not at all.
What I don't want to see is Steve date a series of bimbos. Don't have the stomach for that.

I'm liking Eric, and since I also like Jerry, I'm happy. But what happened to the lady ME that Jerry had a crush on, and I thought would be great for Danno?

Please?Storyline of Charlie will appear in episode 6.06 (in this episode we'll see Charlie). Maybe they mention about Charlie in episode 6.04, because Danny doesn't appear in this episode, so they may explain like this his absence. Amber far doesn't appear, because actress there is no time, because shooting final season of Banshee, which has one of the main roles. As for Mindy I didn't know they had plans to come back, so or she (actress) doesn't have time, or she return in the second half of the season. |
