Nicnac, I was just catching up on this thread and everything was sounding so much better, then I just read you last post. How frustrating, to say the least, to be dealing with such a huge setback. Am praying for your family.

Hey everyone,
thank you all so much for your prayers. I am sincerely thankful. I was at the hospital all day yesterday. They moved her into ICU because she is having trouble breathing because the mass is pushing against her diaphram. i they can not stabilize the breathing then they can not operate tomorrow morning. As of last night she was still on the full face oxygen mass. They oxygen levels were better than they were in the afternoon, but they had to insert a tube to give her medicine and other stuff. We are hoping and praying things look better today. They definitely took a turn for the worse yesterday. They thought they were going to have to put her on a ventilator to assist her with breathing, but so far, they hasn't happened. We really need better vitals today, because they have to operate ASAP or everything will only get worse. I am waiting for an update from the hospital. I was told not to go today, but my parents are there with my grandpa now. I am just continuing to pray.

I just got the latest news, and its not good
They are going to do the surgery tomorrow, but they don't have high hopes. They oxygen levels are getting worse, and everything, in general is getting worse. My family and I really need your prayers more now than ever.

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. I really appreciate it.
My grandma had her surgery yesterday. It went pretty well. She is still on the ventalator, but it is only assisting her to breathe, not breathing for her. The doctors said by tomorrow they want to remove it all together. They removed a tumor the size of a basketball (literally). It is definitly cancer, and thearapy for that will be needed. It is still very serious and she is still in the ICU. She is still medicated for the pain, but is in and out of it and is aware of what is happening. There is still a long hard road ahead. Like I said, the tumor was huge and affected other systems. Please continue praying and keeping my family in your thoughts. Thank you all so much.

Nicnak, thanks for keeping us in touch. I think about you and pray for you and your family every day, especially your Grandma. The Lord gives extra grace to those who ask for it. He'll meet us right where we are.
