I just want to let you all know that my grandma passed away yesterday afternoon.

Oh Nic nak, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved grandmother. She fought an uphill battle with all of you experiencing a roller coaster of emotions, I'm sure. I hope she went peacefully when she transitioned . My thoughts of prayer and comfort are with you and your family at this time. Please update as to how you are doing in the upcoming time ahead. When life settles down a bit and you need some support, please know that your friends here will support and comfort you. All the best ......

Nicnak, my Dear, I'm so sorry about the loss of your grandmother. I know this is a very difficult time for you and your family. I know losing her was painful for you, but also watching your loved ones hurt is painful for you, I'm sure. I wish I could be there to give you a big hug. If you want to share anything about her, we'll all listen and read it. If you just want to share how you're feeling about it all, we'll listen and read it, too. Nicnak please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of your beloved grandma. My thoughts & prayers go out to you and your family in this difficult time. Remember that she will always be there with you & for you for she is sitting right beside God now and watching over you.
When you are ready we will be here to listen, comfort & support you anyway we can.

Thanks so much guys...Its been a really rough week for my family and I. I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. Its been a really busy week too...there is just so much we have to take care of...My grandma lived with me too, so that makes it a lot harder. My grandpa is still here with us at home, so we are taking care of him as well. As sad of an event as it was, the memorial service was very nice, if you know what I mean....My great Grandma is just devastated though. I am really worried about her.
Like I said, I really do appreciate your support. Thanks.

Everybody tells me that I remind them of her...All of the wierd little habits we all have...I have been told many times everyday that all of hers live on pretty much exactly, through me....
For example (Don't judge me on these weird things please!!)
-Only eating spaghetti, no other pasta, and it must be swimming in sauce
-LOVING shoes, and I mean the amazing high heel, Italian/Brazilian shoes (SHe never wore what you would think a typical grandma would wear for shoes)
-Really enjoy wraping presents (Christmas, birthday, etc.)
-Always keeping a stash of money and hiding it "for a rainy day"
Covering mashed potatoes with gravy (I know, that bad for you, but what can you do?)
-remembering all sorts of numbers for no reason at all
-Always having to have the last word in an argument and having to be right (so when we disagreed, it never ended...)
-Being stuborn
-and many more...
I am very lucky to have so many memories with her, but it has been rough, especially bc. I was at her bedside when she passed.
