nicnak you ain't alone with the weird, unpredictable weather.......last friday it was one of our hotter days had the air con going in the house and in the car....the next day saturday it started raining around 6am and didn't stop until around midnight it just kept coming at one stage it was coming down so heavy you couldn't see in front of you (I was driving at the time).....Then come Sunday it was fresh in the morning by mid afternoon the sun was out and it was a warm day...dry all day......I would just love to have a few days in a row of consistent weather......It's not too much to ask for... ..

I'm almost pining for a bit of snow. We had loads in england last year in December so hoping for more of the same, preferably so I can't get into work.

We had our first frost yesterday. But no snow until we've left on our holidays, please, I'm dreading a repeat of early December last year when everything ground to a halt and we couldn't get out of the house for two days.
(I am quite enjoying the warmer weather though because it means I can stick an imaginary two fingers up at our thieving energy supplier every time I walk past the heating controls.)

November in Finland has been so warm that plants are getting confused and are pushing out flowers.

November in Finland has been so warm that plants are getting confused and are pushing out flowers. There's a cold front on the way apparently . Something to do with migratory patterns of birds.

Cold front would be right. All the last days up to yesterday it was cold, but not really frikkin cold. This morning, everything outside was white and glittering with hoarfrost. It's still there and it's already late afternoon. Never warmed up today. At least, it's nothing like last year, when we already had our first snow about this time.
