Oh sweetey, I'm sorry about your christmas (and your car)  Big hugs to you! NewYear, hubby and me are going to stay here at home as we are both still suffering from our colds. Normally we would drive home to celebrate with family and friends, or visit some local festivities with friends. LOL, but that is associated with lots of alcohol and staying up late, so we'll skip this. It's probably going to very uneventful sitting on the coach watching some kind of TVmarathon, eating foods until we fall asleep. Training session for the next years...  I wish everyone of you a happy NewYearEve However, where ever you celebrate it, may it fill your life with joy, happyness and luck, so you get an early start into 2012 which is going to be a blast! ;D ;D ;D |

That's amazing! The exact same thing happened to me and my family on Father's Day. Insurance covered all the dents in everyone's cars, and we all got new roofs. |

Well it's officially December 31 here so since I'm still preparing some food for tomorrow, and will be cooking and cleaning all day tomorrow, I'll take some time now to wish you all a very Happy New Year,  full of love and happiness and may all your wishes come true.
As for our show, I hope it gets back to being great so we can get back those fantastic discussions about what's happening in it rather than to it!

I have to damn well work today because one of my damn students is a self-centered little prick who couldn't be bothered to get off his butt back in October when he was supposed to, and now he is in the middle of a time sensitive experiment. The year started out like crap with the death of my Dad, and ends with me wanting to kill a student. Oh. The. Irony.
But after that, I will probably be around. It's going to be really quiet, but Mom is hinting that we need to have a Hawaii Five 0 Season 1 Marathon, followed by a little bit of Rockin' Eve, intermixed with butterbabies (Butterscotch Schnapps and Baileys) ringing in the new year, drinking a toast to my Dad, passing out, then NCIS Marathon on New Year's Day. And back to work on Monday.
Happy New Years Eve, and May your 2012 be Prosperous, Healthy and Happy for all!

this year was a whole lot better than 2010. ok, i got pleurisy and bronchitis and a stay in hospital, but it was still better than 2010. i passed exams and managed to complete them while coughing my brains up and crippled from the coughing.
although saying good bye to my brother and his family was very hard.
so here's to hoping to 2012 will be happy and peaceful new year for everyone. i know the first half is gonna be stressful, exams, assignments. eeek

Well it's official only 2 and a half hours to go before new year is in.....I have been drinking Cosmopolitans & Long Island Iced Tea and I will be hitting the cowboys soon (baileys & butterschnapps)in shots.....If anything doesn't make sense please forgive me....I have actually had to rewrite some posts because my spelling was way off....I think I am sobering up now......
Anyway HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all my OHANA...Love you and wish you a great start to 2012....May you all receive all that you want & so much more....hugs & kisses to you all....

I snuck out from cooking to sit here for a bit... Hope your new year is better than last year's, darksea. Hope your student learns something about procrastinating too.
We have rain and cold weather and leftover ice on the weather front, bleah.

So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, Darksea. Sorry you're also forced to work over this break. 2011 was a horrible year for me, every single month something horrible or tragic would happen. I'll be glad to toast good riddance to this year and look forward to the 2 new babies arriving in 2012, Twassbrake and " Rachel's"(lol). Celebrated NYE last night with my dear best friends from highschool. Too much pasta & chianti though. Hadn't had a hangover in a long time! I' m glad and proud to be a tiny part of this wonderful network of fans and now friends with all of you. So grateful I have this site to visit. I've learned so much from each of you. Happy New Year and I hope that nothing but the best comes your way in 2012.....

Just me and my immediate family tonight. Then we have our last Christmas get-together with my mother's brothers & sisters, and my grandmother on New Year's Day. Good riddance to 2011 and hello 2012! I hope you all have a wonderful and SAFE New Year celebration. |
