my only guess here is that betweeen charlie sheen, and two and a half men saga, some people have clearly forgotten that there's any thing else but two and a half men, for feck sake, we're getting all the news over here about it over here. seriously it's not good of a show.

The thing is, did all those people who watched Two and a half Men change the channel? I think they were hoping that they would stick around and watch H50, but I guess not.

The people who watched Two and a Half Men might not have been interested in Two Broke Girls, and never went back to CBS, esp. if they went to ABC.

Two Broke Girl, that the new dreadful comedy that people were talking about? Said it totally sucked and CBS should be ashamed to use it as Lead-in to H50.

Yep, a good margin of those who tuned in to Two and a Half Men tuned out immediately afterwards to head directly for Dancing with the Stars, and the Hell's Kitchen finale and never came back.
Several of the analysts are saying that as of next week, DWTS will probably return to the top of the pile. Note how there are not too many returns on what people thought of Two and a Half Men, just that the ratings were astronomical. It was a novelty to see how they were going to handle Charlie's departure, and probably quite a few of them were expecting to see Charlie Sheen rampage onto the set and throw a tiger blood infused temper tantrum. (never happened). By next week, they will return to something closer to their normal ratings profile, and the week after that, should be closer to their ratings numbers.
I'm guessing that NCIS:LA's ratings numbers may have taken a hit last night too, because of the results show for DWTS. That thing is a ratings pig, even with the lackluster cast this year, people are tuning in for the 'trainwreck clause'.

I fear that's very true. Even I watched it, and as usual I was surprised at some of the "stars" who did well. The casting this year has been a freak-show that I hoped would either kill the show - which probably will never happen (witness Survivor) - or teach them a lesson. Sigh... not gonna happen either. So there are a few with potential, and the dregs are horrific. And they will always mess with H50's ratings. @%E$%$@!!!!!

Nope apparently NCIS:LA kicked DWTS rear. But remember since it is the results show of DWTS you only really need to see the last five minutes unlike Monday Nights where everyone watches the whole thing.
CBS NCIS: Los Angeles (Season Premiere) 3.6 (18-49 demo) 16.69 Million Viewers ABC Dancing with the Stars Results 2.8 (18-49 demo) 14.54 Million Viewers

I hope DWTS loses viewers. I usually watched it if it was on (until 5-0 came on of course) and so did my parents. But after the cast was announced I, and a few other family members who I knew usually watched it, all decided not to watch this season. It was getting boring anyways. So hopefully viewers will lose interest.

I only watched kept the TV on during the 1st hour because I didn't want to get involved with in anything, and just glanced at it from time to time. The 2nd hour, ditto, but had the sound off. All I wanted was to see Nancy Freak-Show-in-Herself Grace get knocked off. Sigh... It's a good thing I'm not a Nielsen viewer because the stats would be hopelessly screwed.

I am surprised that they dont put Hawaii 5-0 on after Two and a half Men which would be a smart move.... This is the thing that truly bugs me even here our networks put on some shows on a ridiculous hour....The first season of H50 was on sunday night at 8:30pm which went against Bones on another network channel but the same time....Never watched Bones not a fan.... Now for season 2 premiere they have changed the day to wednesday night at 9:30pm......and on our other networks there isnt anything to rival it....The good thing is that they have put on Glee's premiere on before H50 and here there is a huge glee following so am hoping the glee fans stick around for H50......because if that timeslot doesnt get good ratings they tend to shove it at a later time......

That's guaranteed to wig out American visitors. With some exceptions, we're very hardheaded about our TV timeslots. You get people up in arms about shows being moved, and baffled that they can't find them, have they been cancelled? Horrors! So if an American's over there seeing Glee and H50 on the same channel, they'd faint.
And American TV would never put an hour show on at a half-hour mark. You guys must have some secret system that allows for people with working brains to accept H50 starting on the half hour.

Oh Margarine, you better never watch TV in Germany. ;D Our evening program starts roughly around quarter past (ie. 20.15/21.15/22.15). Depending on the day, program airing and the TV station that can differ plus/minus five minutes. They like to screw the viewers. Makes it harder to switch channels. You need to decide what to watch at 20.00 because otherwise it gets hard, as you either always miss the beginning or the ending of an show.

I have honestly never watched any of those other shows. Although, I did attempt to watch the 2.5 men once. Lasted a whole 10 minutes before I turned it off. I'm picky about the shows I watch. Hopefully they will factor in that a lot of us watch later via OnDemand or online.
