*sigh* I should have known. I am with you all. I understand what CBS is doing, trying keep the leaking of the season opener to a minimum. I also have a question that has been swirling around in my head sense I heard about this announcement this morning, isn't both Alex and Scott nominated for an Emmy or am I just imaging things?Oh, dear, honey, no - you were probably dreaming. Hell may not have to freeze over, but the temperature will have to drop a couple thousand degrees before either of them get nominated for an Emmy. Unless there's a worldwide "pulse" or something that destroys cable TV. Not much room for the humble broadcast networks. |

The confusion over Alex and Scott being "nominated" might be that their names were submitted for consideration but neither was one of the final nominees. There were also submissions for Ed Asner and James Caan as guest stars but neither of them were among the final nominees either. |

They only Emmy nod for H50 this year is for stunt work done in the Navy SEAL murder ep, specifically for the stunt work needed for the mid air rescue/the jumping out of the plane sequence, I believe.

I am glad they are doing another SOTB for season 3 we get to here are the casts intervews and loads of photo's as well. I understand what CBS are doing, and the fans should have waited and not think it would be the same date as last year. I just wish I could be there to see all of it.

I am delighted CBS is giving us SOTB. There is no other TV Show that honors a culture, the people of HI that make the show possible, and the fans. The tradition of The Blessing and SOTB is what makes our H50 Show so special. To all the conplainers, I just have this to say: "get out of the box" and look at the bigger picture. I just can not wait for 9/23 & 9/24.

I'm glad they are doing a SOTB this year, too. It's great for the people on Oahu (and anyone else who can fly in!) to be able to see the episode on a huge screen and get the opportunity to meet and greet with the stars.
For myself, I'm happy we don't have 10 days between SOTB and the TV premiere like last year. It was had not peeking at some of the spoiler threads.....I can hold out for 1 day this year though. 10 days was just torture last year!
And someday---someday---I will fly to Oahu and catch a SOTB.

I am so happy to hear that SOTB will happen for season 3!
I am making plans to attend SOTB in 2014 while I am vacationing in Hawaii for 15 days.
