One particular shop has Christmas stuff up since august. But I do agree wait unt after Halloween. It's freezing here at the moment. Wooly jacket had to go on this morning I know , the gloves came out of the cupboard as well .

Cant believe some of the flooding in some parts of the UK , and it seems to be getting worse. Very thankful that I live in a hilly area where the risk of flooding is not high .

I had a one-day break from the heat -- nice and comfortable low 80's (F) and then back up into the high 90's and low 100's (F). This heat is driving me nuts. And October can be hot with really high winds. NOT happy.

That's been happening here too, until just the last couple of days. Yesterday it rained, literally ALL day and at least half the night - practically unheard-of - and right now it's actually less than 60 degrees! Hallelujah! But 80s and 90s for next week.

Cold! Actual cold! Beginning of October! Fantastic. I put the heat on in the bathroom and have actual long pants on right now. Back to the 80s after tomorrow for a while, but right now, boy is it a lovely change. Gray though...

Overnight in the 40s. They were thinking the low 40s, but it stayed in the upper, and tonight's low 40s again. In the outlying counties, though, 30s. Probably only for 5 minutes but that's cold.

Did you all change your clocks because we did over the weekend....they decided to change them 2 weeks early this year and it's pissed me off...this year there have been soooo many changes like the school holidays have been on later....and now this I am still adjusting.....Luckily the weather has been consistent with 3/4 days of gorgeous Spring weather last week temps were 28degrees then the remaining days we had 14/17 degrees very windy & cold but at least most days are beautiful...but having high temps in October here is ver unsusual it's been said....so we are expecting a very warm Spring leading in to a very hot Summer......to you all keep safe & warm... ..
