Scooter, another Canuck!!!!! Nice to know I'm not the sole one here. Is everyone ready for Christmas? I've been giving it a big push these past couple of days (hence my absence from here) so I think I'm fnally ready. Presents bought, wrapped and separated (half of them go elsewhere), house decorated, we know where we have to be and when... mother-in-law up to her usual Christmas/New Year shenanigans upsetting one son's family and messing up everyone's plans (what else is new? Getting used to it), NO SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the BEST part of this Christmas, haha! Now to await my Christmas present - sadly, not Danno, but a new dishwasher, mine died about 2 weeks ago and the dirty stuff breeds like bunnies. So I'm not-so-patiently waiting for a good sale so I can have a replacement. Hope you are all in good Christmas shape and have your plans all worked out too! Hope you'll all spend it with your loved ones and have a great time. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

No dishwasher for 2 weeks? Aaaahhh! My kids would go into hiding because they know that if there's no dishwasher and mom doesn't wash dishes.... yeah, that means them.

Merry Christmas to everyone celebrating it.
I am headed out to catch the train to Boston to visit my brother. I should be able to check in every day--he'll certainly be visiting his Moya forum.

Merry Christmas my 5-ohana! I will be thinking of you throughout the holidays and missing you greatly. Our Christmas starts tomorrow and lasts for 2 days. My brother-in-law will be happy because I felt up to baking my healthy apple pie. He requested it, and I told him we would just have to see. I know it doesn't sound very appetizing since it's healthy, but it actually is everyone's favorite pie on both sides of my family. There's no sodium or sugar, and yet it's so sweet and juicy and plump. I didn't get to make my 3-d Christmas tree out of sugar cookies. Oh, well! Maybe the kids and I can get it done for New Years. I'm just so thrilled to be up and be involved in the baking and the festivities. The presents are all wrapped and overflowing from under the tree. I'm having problems keeping my 2 year old from getting into the gifts. He just thinks that since it looks like Christmas then it must be time. I love enjoying Christmas through my kids. Their eyes get as big as saucers when they see all the presesnts, and they listen so intently to the Christmas story in the Bible. When the whole family is around, you can just sense everyone's anticipation for all the events to start. I guess one could say that it brings out the kids in all of us. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. Well, until I was laid up for 2 months, I was hoping to make a video on youtube of me playing a Christmas song on the piano and telling you all thank you for being such enjoyable and supportive friends. However, this did not get done. So, I'm including a video of one of my favorite Christmas songs to tell you thank you and Happy Holidays. Love you all!

and they listen so intently to the Christmas story in the Bible. When my kids were little, we'd always have a birthday cake for dessert, so the kids could sing Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus... and then I'd always tease them by asking, "Wait a minute, if it's His birthday, how come you're getting presents?"

Happy Boxing Day! (also Stephen's Day) We don't celebrate it here, but we sort of are this year, since Christmas was Sunday and we get Monday off. Hope everyone had a good Christmas.

Both my children went back to school today - they weren't impressed. However I've been back at work for four days already, so they didn't get much sympathy from me!
