Well met with my heart doctor there is 20% blockage in the heart but it's not enough to do anything about except treat with meds. But the PAD is what she was the most concerned about. There is 50% blockage so if it gets worse they can treat it with a stent. Thanks for all the prayers and support meant a lot to me.Go back in 6 months for a ultra sound to see if my heart is getting worse or if they have to adjust the meds any.

DF -- Glad to hear that everything went reasonably well for you and that there are treatment options available to you. I know it must be a relief to you to know that there are things they can do to help if need be, but I am hoping they won't need to.

I know but I have to laugh at the doctor though she said she's not to worried about my heart but for my age(39) it's troubling that I have 20% blockage lol.Hopefully the PAD does not get any worse my dad died of a blood clot so I got to be very careful.

Thanks DF for the update. Those kinds of things are difficult to hear. I'm glad for your sake it's easily treated rather than with surgery. I'm gonna be on you now to make and keep those lifestyle changes!!

Thanks for the update, DF, it is reassuring enough for the moment. Please take good care of yourself and find out the best things to do for the situation. And keep your spirits up. Remember that even if Steve gets in trouble (or any of the Fab Four), he'll get right back out.

D-fan, I hope the meds work well for you, and when you go back in 6 months that things are all cleared up. And if you do have to eventually get a stint put in, those are very common and easy for doctors to do these days. But hopefully it won't come to that either.

DF, thanks for the update. It's good to hear that you are doing well under all circumstances. I'm sure everything will work out fine. And like others have already said, even if other medical treatment than meds is required, it's not as bad as it might seems. Keep up your good spirit!

Oh boy!! I can finally breathe today as I have good news to report on all fronts. First and foremost, my step-dad's dad made it through his heart valve replacement surgery fine today. Of course, the next month will be crucial in his recovery, especially in making sure he doesn't throw any blood clots. Then for the icing on the cake, the 13 year old retriever mix that I have that was sick and had extremely high liver enzymes got her blood work today. And, the good news is that her liver enzymes are down dramatically meaning she got into something she shouldn't have, instead of the other possibility which was liver or pancreatic cancer. So I am a very happy camper right now who is doing the Snoopy Dog Dance of Happiness and will be scrounging up some celebratory Chocolate in the very near future.

@dacascosfan I'm thankful that you are keeping us all updated on your health and the treatments. I hope you don't mind if we all check in on you from time to time, you know, just making sure that you're doing okay and moving forward with the treatments and all that. I know you mentioned before about some goals that you have. We're cheering you on in confidence, girlfriend. We know you can do it. You're going to go back in 6 months looking and feeling better than ever.
@dianno Great news about your grandfather and your doggie. I'm so happy for you. I know how wonderful and freeing that relief feels after you've been burdened down by stress for as long as you have. It means so much that you came here to tell us all. Congratulations!
Just wanted you both to know that you've been on my heart the last 2 days especially.

Very good news, Diana. It's hard to keep a dogs paws out of things they shouldn't get into.
Our friend who had the heart attack is now back home, doing out-patient therapy to prepare for his double bypass surgery next month. He can now walk without using a walker, eat without assistance, and talk very well except for a raspy voice.
Sounds like good news all around on this thread --- praise reports are almost as import as prayer requests.
