@dacascosfan, I think I know what kind of "mother" you are referring to me as! lol Visualization is becoming accepted as a form of healing within the body so yes I'll write you a prescription for MD/WF pics as needed in your recovery ;D ;D ;D @diana I'm happy you got some relief from the stressors in your life. My 12 yr old Golden had elevated liver enzymes too and after 3 rounds of different Rx's and supplements she remained healthy We figured she ate one of my son's meds that fell on the floor. Glad to her your golden recovered with out any internal organ damage

My Peke Cochise is going totally blind but he's young so that will help.

My Peke Cochise is going totally blind but he's young so that will help. I hope Cochise is young enough to adapt to that challenge. Sometimes it helps to have another dog who can be his seeing eye buddy and make the world less lonely and more secure for him. I'm praying for Cochise, he's got a warrior's name and hopefully will have the warrior spirit

Yes he does have a warrior's name it fits him to a T. He's just going to be extra spoiled and be carried around more by his mommy.

Very good news, Diana. It's hard to keep a dogs paws out of things they shouldn't get into. Our friend who had the heart attack is now back home, doing out-patient therapy to prepare for his double bypass surgery next month. He can now walk without using a walker, eat without assistance, and talk very well except for a raspy voice. Sounds like good news all around on this thread --- praise reports are almost as import as prayer requests. Runner, you're so right about praise reports being important to the ones praying and to the Lord. Excellent point! I'm relieved for you and your close friend and his wife. I've often thought about them when I thought about you and wondered how he was doing. Glad to hear that there's been so much improvement. Please keep us in touch about when he has his surgery next month. Okay!

He and his wife are awaiting word on some tests. Doc now says that part of his heart may not be able to handle the surgery. Will post more as soon as I've heard. At least he has started eating healthier, although it was a lesson learned the hard way in his case. Oh, dfan, your doggie is adorable!

Have a friend who is having stomach surgery tomorrow; should take about 4 hours. He's been in the hospital since December 20th. They have finally found the problem and got him strong enough to withstand the surgery. He missed Christmas, New Year's, his birthday and Easter. His family and friends hope he will be well and home to celebrate Memorial Day with us. If you have room on your prayer lists tomorrow, please include him, his family and definitely his surgeon. Thanks, friends!
