Like usual expect Castle to be adjust down slightly due to the DWTS over run. That being said though it appears that some one is definitely starting to nip at H50 heals.
CBS Hawaii Five-0 2.9 (18-49 demo) 10.28 (Million viewers) ABC Castle 2.9(18-49 demo) 12.94 (Million viewers) NBC Rock Center with Brian Williams (Premiere) 1.0(18-49 demo) 4.13 (Million viewers)

Dancing with the Stars didn't overrun. They ended at 30 seconds before Castle, they even got a commercial in. My sister turned the channel at the end of DWTS' credits, and still got Mike & Molly in New York. I turned the channel at the same time here in the Mountain zone, got the same thing.
Literally, at the half hour mark last night, there was a mass blow-up on twitter of Anti-Lori sentiment, and then I started to see the Castle twitter feed pick up with people asking what was going on, and there was a lot of twitter action for Brian Williams.

Yeah, not so good. I don't expect we'll be seeing a "great ratings! thanks for watching!" tweet from PL.

Officially, Castle beat Hawaii Five O pretty badly, even if there is a downturn for some markets, it can't be 2 million viewers large.

There is one thing that may change: It seems that the New York, New Haven, and Boston ratings weren't included, this could be due to the weather issues, so there will be an excuse from that.

They are going to try to blame it on halloween which is total Bullcrap. The Trick or Treaters were done by 9 at the latest and my house was full of kids, that all left by 9:30. School night. Someone put the AOLeffect on urban dictionary, maybe we need a Lorieffect on there too.

LoriEffect: Akin to the Butterfly Effect. Lori Weston flashes her blue steel look, or opens her mouth, and the world vomits and tunes out.

LoriEffect: Akin to the Butterfly Effect. Lori Weston flashes her blue steel look, or opens her mouth, and the world vomits and tunes out. This is completely accurate. Can we add it to the Urban Dictionary?

Trick or Treating was done here by 8:15. I live just outside of KC, MO...and the Chiefs were playing MNF. So Halloween was not the issue here-more likely MNF though. I was thinking about the power outages on the east coast--I suppose that could mess with the ratings---but I wouldn't think it would add up to that many people.....

By Monday night there were still OVER 1 million people from New Jersey to Maine without power due to the freak snow storm. Some of my friends in CT are not expected to get their power back until the weekend Here are some the prelim ratings I saw out there..... Episode 02-07 – Monday, 10/31/112.9 in the demo (-7% week-to-week change) with 10.3 million. (These are fast affiliate numbers and will be updated to reflect the national ratings when they are available.) Does not say anything about missing numbers from the northeast.

And, here is the other thing. If it is a power outage thing then shouldn't all shows across the board be down, instead it appears that Castle actually went up this week while H50 went down. Unless for some reason H50 is more watched in the Northeast corridor than Castle is.
Castle - Viewers went from 11.1 million last week to 12.9 this week and it's 18-49 demo went from 2.5 to 2.9.
H50 - Viewers went from 11.1 million last week to 10.3 this week and it's 18-49 demo went from 3.3 to 2.9.

TV Ratings Monday: Halloween No Treat for Broadcast Nets, All Shows Down Except 'Castle' Written By Robert Seidman November 1st, 2011
With viewing levels depressed due to Halloween trick or treating (down 13% at 8pm vs. last week) almost every show took a hit. CBS won the night with adults 18-49 and ABC was tops with total viewers. How I Met Your Mother was down 5% to a 4.1 adults 18-49 rating and 2 Broke Girls was down 7% to a 4.2 adults 18-49 rating. Two and a Half Men was off 15% to a 4.7 rating and Mike & Molly dropped 10% to a 3.8 adults 18-49 rating. Hawaii Five-0 was off 6% to a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating. Terra Nova fell to a series low 2.1 adults 18-49 rating, down 25% from its last original episode two weeks ago. House was down 19% to a 2.5 rating (I expect that's a multi-year low) from its last original. A repeat of Scared Shrekless at 8p on ABC was down 35% from last year's debut (which was on NBC) to a 1.7 rating. Dancing with the Stars was down 13% from last week to a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating, its lowest performance show ever. Castle was the lone show that was up, rising 21% from last week to a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating. The Sing Off saw its lowest ever rating with adults 18-49, off 7% from last week to a 1.4 rating. As expected (even by Brian Williams and NBC) Rock Center with Brian Williams got crushed in the ratings with a 1.0 adults 18-49 in its premiere. Note:though I don't expect much in the way of adjustments resulting from this the local CBS affiliate in San Diego carried the Chargers-Chiefs Monday Night Football telecast. In Kansas City, the local ABC affiliate carried it. Update: or maybe not, with the game going into overtime, San Diego viewing makes it into the 8pm hour, and could have boosted the CBS shows more than I originally expected. We'll see in the finals this afternoon...
