also in sore loser news.
The French have questioned the performance of Team GB at the cycling, with the loser in the sprint today suggesting that they were on "Magic Wheels". The Germans said something similar during the week.

A very exciting game, and such a heart breaker for us Canadians. Gotta hope they pull themselves together to go for the bronze against the French.

in the woman's boat racing yesterday our irish girl came fourth, she nearly won it, but let it slip at the last minute, poor girl was gutted. but at the same time, 4th best in the world is not bad achievement. still sucks though at least our boxers are doing a great job come on katie!!

Just learned this morning that Jessica Ennis won the heptathlon for Britain! Congratulations! Wish we had seen it here, they didn't cover it unless it was so quick I missed it.

Okay, now I know something new. Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh-Jennings won their beach volleyball match with China for the bronze medal, and they'll play the other American team, April Ross and Jennifer Kessy, for the silver and gold medals. Who knew? You can do that. Kinda takes the suspense out of which country will increase their medal count, but that's okay!
