*serious facepalm* Still a bit gutted from poor Annallise Murphy finishing 4th in the sailing on Sunday but happy with how the boxers are going! Not sure that my nerves will survive the Katie Taylor fight later so maybe it's a good thing that I'm at work Fiona

find it amazing that he was only put back in after a competitor couldn't compete. happy days!!!
btw, did any one see the men's 200 meters? blake practically stopped running BEFORE he got to the line. i know it was the semi final, but that was dumb like.

Nerves for the Katie Taylor gold medal fight have already started Hope I can still work and type with crossed fingers later haha!! The show jumping was amazing....They were mighty big fences! I'm really looking forward to the men's 200m...Bolt v Blake for gold I reckon Fiona

Yes I think that Blake slowed down a bit too early, where as Bolt slowed down much earlier on but still kept a huge lead . My money is on Bolt again ,

The women's 10m platform was...really bad. Aside from Chen Ruolin, obviously. The prelims were bad, the semifinals were bad, the final was bad. So much splashing.
Hopefully the men's event will be better. I know there's an American diver (or maybe two), but I'm rooting for Tom Daley. It's so sad that his father didn't live to see him compete after talking about it for years.
