Many people wants shows to be more realistic and more human. I believe that the way action was handled was chessy, superficial, unrealistic and overdone. It's like they are just trying too hard

Okay guys I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that H50's repeat on Saturday actually beat the repeat of Revolution. Here is the complete ratings for the night (I included the complete set as the college football on ABC and Fox span across both the 8 and 9 o'clock hours.)
8:00PM ABC Saturday Night College Football (8-11) 1.2 (18-49 Demo) 4.01 (Million Viewers) FOX Saturday Night College Football (8-10) 1.1 (18-49 Demo) 3.57 (Million Viewers) NBC Revolution -R 0.5 (18-49 Demo) 2.62(Million Viewers) CBS Vegas -R 0.9 (18-49 Demo) 4.21(Million Viewers) 9:00PM NBC Law & Order SVU -R (9-11) 0.8 (18-49 Demo) 4.03(Million Viewers) CBS Hawaii Five-0 -R 0.7 (18-49 Demo) 3.64(Million Viewers) 10:00 PM CBS 48 Hours-P 0.9 (18-49 Demo) 4.82(Million Viewers)
The bad news come from the 3-day DVR data. While it is true that H50 jumped from 1.8 (18-49 Live Demo) to 2.6 (18-49 3-Day DVR Demo) which is a 44% increase which sounds really good until you look at Revolution's numbers. Revolution went from 3.45 (18-49 Live Demo) to 5.19 (18-49 3-day DVR Demo) which is a 50% increase. Also, when you compare this number to the 18-49 3-Day DVR number (5.45) for it's first episode there is only a 5% drop in the number of 3-day DVR viewers, which means that 95% of the people who watched the premiere of Revolution live and/or on DVR within 3 days returned in it's second week to also either live or within 3 days, again. Which is indicative that it maintained a high level of interest from it's first week to it's second week. Now whether it will be able to maintain this trend for several more weeks is yet to be seen.
P.S As for overall numbers of viewers I can't speak to those as they weren't released for the 3-Day DVR numbers so we will have to wait until we get the 7 day DVR numbers, but I wouldn't expect the trend to be much different between the 3-day and 7 day.

Here is an update on Castle's 3 day DVR numbers. It went from a 2.1 in the 18-49 demo to a 2.9 or a 37% increase and gained 2.5 million viewers.

UPDATE: My bad....these Live+7 numbers are for premeire week...sorry about the misinformation....
Live+7 ratings for last week are quite interesting..... H50 was #6 in total demo % increase vs Live+SD ratings and H50 was the ONLY CBS show in the top 10 largest demo increases between Live+SD vs Live+7. What this says to me is that last week, H50 was the CBS show that viewers most frequently DVR'd and watched later. Maybe it was all those football watchers in Houston last week??
Rk Show/Network/ Live+SD/ Live+7/ % INC 1. Grimm/NBC/ 1.6/ 2.9/ 81% 2. Revolution/NBC/ 3.4/ 5.7/ 68%
3. Fringe/FOX/ 1.1/ 1.8/ 64%
4. Private Prac/ABC/ 1.9/ 3.1/ 63%
5. Glee/FOX/ 2.4/ 3.9/ 63%
6. Hawaii 5-0/CBS/ 1.8/ 2.9/ 61%
7.New Girl/FOX/ 2.8/ 4.3/ 54%
8. Office/NBC/ 2.1/ 3.2/ 52%
9. 666 Park Ave/ABC/ 2.1/ 3.2/ 52%
10. New Girl/ 2.8/ 4.2/ 50%

Usually it takes about 3 weeks for the DVR numbers to come out which means we should be getting the DVR numbers for the premiere this week and 303 shouldn't be coming out until Oct 29th.

To build upon what NYCGal has already posted here are the 18-49 Demo and Million of Viewers DVR numbers for the premiere episode (301).
18-49 Demo REVOLUTION went from a 3.4 to a 5.7 for a gain of 2.3 or 68% Hawaii Five-0 went from a 1.8 to a 2.9 for a gain of 1.1 or 61% CASTLE went from a 2.1 to a 3.0 for a gain of 0.9 or 43%
Million of Viewers REVOLUTION went from 9.213 to 14.078 for a gain of 4.865 or 52.8% CASTLE went from 10.473 to 13.836 for a gain of 3.363 or 32.1% Hawaii Five-0 went from 8.059 to 11.382 for a gain of 3.323 or 41.2%
The good news from these numbers is that it appears as if the show hasn't dramatically lost viewers though it is definately still down from previous season's premiere episodes, they are just time shifting to watch the show later versus watching it live.
Also, a reminder. Make sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page to see the DVR charts.

Thanks, Di.
Your comment about H5O viewers choosing not to watch live is interesting, since that comment seems true of all 3 shows. They all increased 30-50% after DVR viewing was factored in. So, what are all these people watching live at 10pm on Monday nights? Or is everyone going to bed after a tiring work day?

I believe that it is a combination of going to bed and Monday Night Football on ESPN.

I DVR H5O and watch it as soon as I get home. I also DVR Castle and watch it Tuesday after work. Thank goodness for dual band tuners. And some of us work evenings. A lot of the time I have orchestra rehearsal on Monday nights and I don't get home until @10:00m.
